The integration of new HV cabling and a new RMU. Electrical, Instrumentation and pre commissioning work was part of the installation for a new Cameron Compressor attached to an ABB HV Motor.

Scope

​

• Install and Terminate new HV cables on cable ladder from EWP incorporating spotters, Permits, Safety basement systems and plans 

• Leveling off starter panels, busbar joint preparation, assembly of MCC

• The installation of Instrumentation, Air operated valves and electrical control and monitoring systems 

• Oxygen analysers

Challenges

​

Hender Lee Electrical delivered critical HV shut downs to this explosive gases processing facility which has been added onto and changed over the years and it presented unique challenges when delivering project works.

 

We worked in close isolation and under direction of BOC Gases Project Engineers.  We also provided a new fire detection system to the plant in critical instrumentation areas while it was operational.

 

All works were done from EWP’s and cable ladders. We delivered the new works with nil interruptions to the facility.
