The Rottnest Island Authority engaged Hender Lee to supply and install new conduit access between transformers and remote services, supply and install of pits for Transformer transition and inter-connections. The works were completed while the existing 630KVA Transformer remained energised.

Scope

​

• Spare conduit (150mm) to existing Dome Café cable pit north of Bedford Ave toilet block.

• Spare conduit (150mm) to cable pit located adjacent to Pedal & Flipper brick paved are.

• Spare conduit (150mm) inter-connect between Transformer transition cable pits.

• Divert existing Hotel “new” mains conduit to 1000KVA Transformer transition cable pit.

• Disconnect and remove Events switchboard leaving suitable access to outgoing services.

• Seal all conduit entries into pits and leave conduits capped with draw ropes installed.

• Danger tape to be installed as per AS3000:2018

• Confirm existing buried services prior to excavation

• GPS and Mapping of all installed asset and trenching

• Supply of As Constructed drawings

• Site fencing to protect all open excavations during works

• Contractor to supply suitable traffic management plan prior to works commencing.
